We support families raising children with autism and related behavioral disorders.

Creating supportive housing that provides a safe and structured living space for children who are enrolled in their local therapeutic day school is the highest priority of the Chasing Hope Foundation. Through incorporating nutrition, mindfulness, vocational opportunities, therapy animals, engaged support, giving back and nurturing strengths, each child can become the person they dream to be.

Please join us in making a difference.

2024 Annie Awards

All nominations are due by March 30, 2025.

The Chasing Hope Foundation seeks to recognize and reward those individuals who represent the highest standard in special education through The Annie Awards.

The 2022 Annie Awards were held at the Winnetka Community house on Friday, April 29. We were happy to host our keynote speaker, Ken Rosen, author of Troubled: The Failed Promise of America’s Behavioral Treatment Programs. Acclaimed journalist Kenneth R. Rosen knows firsthand the brutal emotional, physical, and sexual abuse carried out at these programs. He lived it. In Troubled, Rosen unspools the stories of four graduates on their own scarred journeys through the programs into adulthood. Ken is currently in Ukraine on assignment & is based in Venice, Italy for Wired magazine. www.kennethrrosen.com

Our Projects

The core mission is to establish neighborhood-based, nurturing and supportive houses for children 3rd-12th grades who are attending local therapeutic day schools.

This simple idea allows families to stay together, saves taxpayers money, and provides opportunities for students to remain in the communities they call home.
